This is a powerful navy strength bottling from the incredible team at the Edinburgh Distillery. It is inspired by Edinburgh's rich naval heritage. Cannonball resurrects a historic style of gin commissioned by the British Navy, making this gin an homage to Edinburgh's seafaring past. They settled on a bottling strength of 57.2% ABV, and use a double hit of juniper to create additional intensity to handle that extra alcohol. A wonderful gin that packs quite the punch!
The Distillery The Distillery
The Edinburgh Gin Story began in 2010 with the launch of their now iconic Classic London Dry. Head Distiller, David Wilkinson, wanted to make a traditional dry gin but include plenty of native Scottish botanicals in the recipe, namely pine buds, mulberries and cobnuts. As a small-batch distiller, they produce a dynamic range of gins for all occasions. Every bottle of Edinburgh Gin is produced at our West End and Leith Distilleries to their very exacting high-standards.
