Ayinger Lager Hell

The Helles style of lager - pale, malty and only mildly hoppy - is a staple of the Bavarian diet. Its approachable style is suitable for any occasion throughout the day. But don't be fooled, it's not a simple beer, its quality is subtle but most definitely there, particularly at Ayinger.

Malt Coast IPA

Malt Coast are known for their award-winning malts - the Malt Coast IPA is made using their Maris Otter malt alongside Pacific Coast and Slovenian hops. They have created a bold IPA that's filled with fruity pine notes and has an intensely satisfying finish.

O'Hara's Irish Red Ale

The red ale is a great style that works with the hard water of Ireland, giving the beer a crispness that goes very well with the mild background rustiness from a small handful of black malt. It also allows the traditional hops to play a role in the aroma. All in all, a complex beer at a sessionable strength.

Salopian Brewery Hop Twister Pale Ale

We love this pale ale from one of our key brewery partners, Salopian. While they make cracking traditional British style ales, they're not afraid to incorporate the popular and punchy American hop varieties either. Here, it's Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot that combine to give you a really direct and refreshing citrus-focused pale with a hint of roundness on the palate from the malt. Very well made and very much enjoyed at VW HQ!

This is exactly what we want to do with beer, this beer is made by you! We ran a poll and asked you what style of beer you want us to make. We took the results to our mates at Full Circle Brew Co., devised a recipe, got hands-on with the brewing, and here is the result. You asked for a pale golden colour with a big hoppy hit of tropical fruit and a moreish juiciness on the palate, and that is exactly what you've got!

Bullhouse Brew Co. Frank The Tank Hazy IPA

This Hazy IPA is in safe hands at Bullhouse. They work meticulously, trialling all of their recipes before release. The Hazy IPA is a tricky style to make well as it needs its hop aromas to really jump out and a bit of oxygen when packaging can cause problems. But at Bullhouse there's no chance of that, this beer has been handled with extreme caution all the way to the can and you should treat it the same, as it's dangerously easy to drink!
