Whitefriars Brewing Project will become a range full to the brim of some of the country's favourite beer styles, made to perfection in small batches by the leaders in the field. Our golden ale was brewed for us by Slater's in Stafford whose own ales have been a huge hit for Virgin customers. This small 2000-litre batch was brewed with traditional UK hops Fuggles and Goldings, is round and approachable with caramel notes, floral hints and a subtle biscuity aroma. Sure to be a big hit!

This is the release of our exclusive collab brew with Gipsy Hill. It's a juicy pale ale with a haze in the glass that you know means an overload of hops. Trendy Mosaic, Citra and Ekuanot to be specific, giving you a blast of stone fruit with soft bitterness. The New England style is really hitting the spot with beer fans at the moment. Many brewers are having a go but it's a very easy style to get wrong, so we made sure to partner with a safe pair of hands for our exclusive.

If you're a lager fan but want to ease yourself into ales (or vice versa), this is the style for you. In an attempt not to turn this note into a lecture, the main difference is the yeast and the flavours it produces. The yeast for a golden ale creates more fruity flavours than a lager but, if carefully managed and fermented on a very pale malt base, you can achieve that trademark lager crispness. We love both styles so we had to include this one-for-all style in our exclusive Making Time range. We're quietly confident this one will go down a storm.

20 Barrel Brewing is exactly that, brewed in small batches of 20 brewers' barrels (just over 3k litres) means there's no compromise with quality. Less volume to manage means much better control. 'Ordinary Bitter' is the official style category but it's by no means ordinary in flavour. First Gold and Fuggles - two very traditional British hops - provide the classic earthy and spicy aromas that lift an otherwise deliciously malty beer.

PROUD beer is a great initiative set up by Ethan & Soren that donates 20p of every single bottle sold to LGBTQ+ charities. It's a small team with a single aim - to give support to the LGBTQ+ community where it's needed most. In only two years they've raised over £10,000 for charities such as Diversity Role Models, LGBT Foundation and Terence Higgins Trust (check them all out online) but 2020 hasn't been kind and the cancellation of live events has proved a major challenge. So we've teamed up and we're really excited to be able to help Ethan, Soren and the LGBTQ+ community by making their beer available to all UK households. It shouldn't be ignored, by the way, that the beer itself is also delicious! 20p per bottle, remember, let's how much we can raise.
