Guess where this attractive Champagne copycat comes from? West Sussex. It's true! With a little help from some great summer seasons and a handful of French experts, top-class wines such as this have begun emerging from the Ridgeview vineyards. Made with Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier, this fresh, accessible bubbly is a real talking point and a serious contender to its over-the channel neighbours.
The Ridgeview Estate in West Sussex is dedicated solely to the production of the highest quality sparkling wine from traditional Champagne varieties and methods, with winemaker, Michael Roberts, at the helm.
Fruit characters are very dominant with Chardonnay bringing not only citrus & grapefruit characters, but some tropical fruit. Brioche flavours will continue to develop and deepen over the next 2-3 years. Lovely, fine mousse with a light gold colour. Ready to drink now or keep for 3-4 years.
Type: Prosecco (Glera)
Prosecco is the new black! Stylish and sexy, in the last few years this wine has really come into its own. Refreshing, vibrant and aromatic, Prosecco is perfect for everything from chilling in the garden, to a full-on celebration.
Type: Champagne blend
This is a top-class 'méthode traditionnelle' sparkler from New Zealand's iconic winery - Cloudy Bay. A masterful blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that is both rich and elegant. A great alternative to Champagne and superb value for money.
Type: Pinot Grigio
Delicious. Refreshing. Revitalising. Sparkling Pinot Grigio Brut from Italy. What more do you need to know? It's perfect to drink amongst friends for any occasion although you don't really need an excuse to open this delight.
