A lovely fruit-forward red, crafted from small parcels of Cabernet Sauvignon, harvested from across the Western Cape, to create a perfectly balanced wine packed with varietal character. It is best served alongside some good home cooked food, especially classics like cottage pie, hot pots, and your favourite slow cooks. Great depth of fruit, lovely fresh cherry notes and a plenty of juicy mouthcoating fruit that leads into a long and lasting finish.

Ben Snyman
Ben Snyman graduated with a degree in viticulture and oenology in 2009 at the University of Stellenbosch. The following year, he did a harvest season at Chalk Hill in the renowned Sonoma Valley in California, where he says he accumulated immeasurable experience. He's also done harvests at Vrede en Lust, Boschendal and a range of other prestigious estates. Snyman was appointed winemaker at Overhex Private Cellar in 2010. Last year, he was promoted to head winemaker at the cellar, which is part of Overhex Wines International.
