Our X Marks the Spot wines are a range of site specific releases that celebrate the best grapes planted in the best spots. Swartland is often referred to as 'Shiraz Country', as it specializes in making rich, fruit-driven wines from this grape. So with the help of the very talented winemaker Alecia Boshoff, we were able to select this wine made from a parcel of dry-farmed old vines. What you get here is a lovely, fresh but ripe melange of quality Shiraz fruit that delivers typical Swartland flavours of juicy dark berry fruits, balanced by tannic structure.
