The vineyard is extremely old and is very rare in keeping the old stone walls surrounding it. On a lintel of the cellar of one of the original houses is carved the date 1779. The current company was set up in 1990 in order to ensure continuity of the family-character of this vineyard, consisting of Monsieur et Madame Jacques Bailly and their children Valerie and Nicholas.

After a few years, the tannins become assimilated, the aromas then develop into a subtle bouquet so that every taster discovers a wine which is very harmonious, delicately wooded with nuances of plums and red fruit."
