Tuffers' Tipples are all selected by Phil himself, with the assistance of our Head Wine Buyer, Andrew Baker. This is a very special Southern French red which he fell for. A blend of Syrah and Grenache from 25 year old vines and Mourvèdre from low yielding 50-year-old vines to enhance the balance and depth of the final wine. Its delicate, fine tannins integrate with fresh red fruits, and you get a hint of spice from the Grenache and a touch of cocoa from the small proportion of Syrah which was aged in oak barrels.
