There’s nothing like having some good news to share, and in the wine industry it doesn’t get much better than this! We’re absolutely delighted to announce that we are the proud winners of the Specialist Online Drinks Retailer of the Year award for 2022!
The Drinks Retailing Awards is a pretty big deal in the drinks world, and this year it was held at the one and only Dorchester hotel in London’s glamourous Mayfair. We were invited along to the awards ceremony on Tuesday 22nd March where we eagerly awaited to find out who would be crowned the winner. And much to our delight, we ended up taking the gong home!
Our goal at Virgin Wines is to provide the best value wines, beers and spirits in the world, all backed up with world class levels of customer service. The knowledge that our products create a backdrop to our customers’ good times is all the reward we strive for, but getting a trophy is always nice too!
We’re over the moon to have won this title again, and very happy to share the news with you, our wonderful customers – who play such a big part in our business, and really make it what it is today.
So, cheers to everyone who plays a part in our story – from our colleagues and customers to our wonderful winemakers around the world, this really wouldn’t be possible without you!
