This Vina Albali De-Alcoholised Sauvignon Blanc 2019 has all of them wonderful qualities you expect from a Savvy B, just minus the alcohol. Produced in Spain by Winemaker Carlos Villarraso, the alcohol is removed from this wine using spinning cone technology. This complex, non-aggressive process reduces the ABV to less than 0.5%, without compromising any of the signature varietal characteristics. Expect notes of lemon, ripe peach and a touch of elderflower.

Perhaps you are more of a red wine fan? Well, luckily Carlos and his team have got you covered too with a Vina Albali De-Alcoholised Cabernet Sauvignon Tempranillo 2019. This medium-bodied fruity red is full of strawberry and blackcurrant notes with a classic spicy finish. At less than 0.5% ABV, this one can really be drunk guilt-free. Produced using the same method as the Sauvignon Blanc, this blend of two black grapes really hits the spot for those who love a rich red wine with soft tannins.

When it comes to parties and celebrations, sometimes nothing but fizz will do. A ‘go-to’ sparkling around the world is, of course, Prosecco thanks to its huge increase in popularity in recent years. This Scavi & Ray Alcohol Free Sparkling is made from the same Glera grapes the producer also uses in their award-winning Prosecco, meaning you can expect show-stopping flavours. This deliciously refreshing vino is full of tangy citrus notes as well of plenty of green apple and pear, making it perfect on its own or used in mocktails such as a Mimosa or Bellini.

Of course, we couldn’t talk about low/no alcohol wines and not mention the McGuigan range. Well established in the wine world and a familiar brand to many, they have expanded into alcohol-free wines. With a Shiraz, Shiraz rosé and a Chardonnay available, this range covers all bases and will please wine lovers far and wide. The team worked on the range for two years to make sure it was just right, and as a result these three wines are are great examples of the quality you can now find with low/no alcohol wines.

Going straight to alcohol-free tipples may not be for everyone. Some maybe looking to reduce alcohol consumption gradually. This Mountain View Marlborough Pinot Noir is the perfect middle ground. Produced by a talented team in New Zealand, this wine is produced with innovation and sustainability at its heart. Winemaker, Beth Forrest, uses a natural process to slow down the vines ability to produce sugar, resulting in an ABV of 9.5% – considerably lower than that of standard wine. The result is a superbly structured, deliciously round and silky Pinot Noir with floral notes balanced by rich dark cherry flavours.

Mountain View haven’t stopped there. We all know New Zealand is a firm favourite when it comes to Sauvignon Blanc and it’s no surprise why. So this lower ABV Mountain View Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc is a welcomed addition to our range. Heaps of citrus with a tropical zing, this white has tonnes of character and quality at 9.5% ABV.

Salcombe Distillery are known for their ability to produce spirits of the highest quality, and the Salcombe New London Light (NLL) Gin is no different. A combination of Macedonian juniper, zesty ginger and warm habanero come together on the palate to create a wonderfully fragrant tipple. Not only is this 0% ABV but also vegan and low in calories, meaning it ticks all the right boxes.

For those looking for a lower alcohol option as opposed to no alcohol, the Temperance by Portobello Road will hit the spot. At 4.3%, this spirit has been carefully crafted for gin fans. Distilled using juniper, coriander, liquorice and nutmeg to name just a few of the botanicals, the flavour profile of this is weighty with plenty of spice, followed by a pleasant citrus finish.
