The Wine The Wine
Argentina
Region:San Juan
This is 100% Malbec from two contrasting areas of Argentina's San Juan region. The Tulum Valley at an altitude of 650m, where the grapes attain excellent levels of ripeness and deliver a rich juicy intensity to the wine, and the Pedernal Valley at a staggering 1,350m that retain freshness and bring a bright vibrant red fruitiness to the finish. High altitude wine growing in San Juan is really taking off.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Eduardo Casademont
Eduardo Casademont's story is simple - a man encouraged by passion, who has studied and travelled the world's vineyards as well as those in his own backyard. Montpellier, La Rioja, Australia and New Zealand became part of Eduardo's path. This is all translated in the wines he prepares for Finca Las Moras. Wines prepared for passionate people, for music lovers, sportsmen and women, any amateur artist, student, fathers, mothers, sons... People who live the greatness of simple moments.
"Argentina's signature grape type is undoubtedly Malbec, a variety of French origin. It has taken to its new home like a duck to water, gaining a reputation for exceptional quality fruit-bomb wines. It's a lovely grape to grow and I enjoyed making this exclusive from start to finish. It turned out superbly." Eduardo Casademont, Winemaker.
