Ryno Booysen is back with our first listing of his Viognier. And a very fine job he's made of it too. Crafting Viognier is all about controlling the excesses of this characterful grape. Ryno's natural vinicultural restraint helps a great deal in this respect. You'll not find any thick, alcoholic soup in this bottle, more an elixir of white peach and lemon texture that immediately delights. It also sports a good level of freshness, quite rare in a wine from this grape.
