We set out to create our own Super Tuscan and Mazzarella is the finished beast. Blended with winemaker Paolo Rivella using some seriously choice barrels we decided on a tri-varietal combination of Sangiovese, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. When combined they join together creating a balance of power, elegance and structure. A medium bodied red, dense blackberry fruit, juicy and drinkable with perfectly integrated oak. It all makes for a perfect match to Tuscan dishes, especially Florentine T-bone steak.
