In my opinion there are only two really great Sancerre Rosé - and this is one of them. In fact, when I got the opportunity, I just had to buy this. Delicate and powerful at the same time, this is what real rosé is all about. Deliciously creamy red fruits backed by a refreshing mineral undertone, this is definitely one to enjoy in the sunshine - preferably with someone really special.
The estate of Domaine Michel Girard comprises of 19 hectares which is made up of 30 parcels of vineyards. Terroir plays an important role in our estate where three different soil structures of Sancerre exist: Terres Blanches (limestone), Caillottes (chalky limestone), Silex (flint). The result is several cuves vinified separately each reflecting the different soils which we bring together to give wines which have body, fruit and length.

The best rosés, like this, have fantastic minerality, crisp and refreshing acidity and a herb scented complexity. The flavour of this superb rose will change quite dramatically whether you serve chilled as an aperitif or partner with food.
Californian sunshine in a glass! White Zinfandel grapes from old vine vineyards in the Lodi region of central California bring you this pretty in pink delight. Aromas of strawberries and cream are followed by a light, fruity palate.
