The 700m altitude of the vineyards that give Pizo its Syrah are in an exceptional spot in Cariñena. Its south-facing aspect ripens the fruit with ease but the altitude keeps freshness at the forefront of this style. The slate soils give the wine a well-defined structure, completing it, creating something with balance, varietal expression and style.

Antonio Serrano
Antonio Serrano has vast experience from winemaking in USA and Australia. He uses his extensive contact list of growers to individually select grapes from different vineyard parcels for the creation of specific wines, using hand-picked old vine grapes which have low yields and an intense concentration of aroma and colour.
