Xavier Roger grew up in the vineyards helping his father, Jean Max Roger, a legendary producer in Sancerre. Curious to make wines in other regions after university, Xavier moved to the Languedoc - France's "New World". Travelling across the region, he fell in love with the beautiful, rugged landscape covered with vineyards and "Les Grands Chemins" the tracks that, for centuries, have provided the route for the horses that brought the harvested grapes from the vineyards to the Château.
