The Isle of Wight lies a few miles off the coast of Hampshire and it is on this beautiful island that great friends Xavier Baker and Conrad Gauntlett founded their distilling base. Small batch, slow distilling and local chalk-fed spring water are the cornerstones of their handcrafted spirits range. Mermaid Gin is a wonderfully smooth London dry with citrus notes, a whiff of sea air and a pleasant peppery kick to the finish. It looks awesome as well!

The Isle of Wight Distillery combine slow distillation, local sustainably sourced ingredients to hand-craft a blended range of award-winning spirits. Working with hand-built custom column stills, the distillation process is tightly controlled, capturing only the 'hearts' of each batch for their signature smooth texture and expressive character-filled spirits.
The Perfect Serve The Perfect Serve
We have experimented at HQ an awful lot and the best way to serve this for us is for you to grab a tumbler, pour a single measure of Mermaid Gin over ice, splash in 100ml of Mediterranean tonic and garnish with a stick of cucumber.
