The moment you place an order with us, your wine becomes part of a swift delivery system. Others call it Express, whereas we like to think of it as standard. Because next day delivery is a service standard we always aim to meet. As soon as you place your order, our warehouse team get busy - so we do everything we can from the word GO to get your wine delivered the following working day. Because let's be honest - life's too short to be kept waiting!

Once you order something, naturally you want it as soon as possible. We hear you. On average 96% of orders arrive within 24 hours - and unlike many businesses, we won't charge you extra!
Saturday delivery is available on request. To arrange a Saturday delivery the order MUST be placed by phone. Call 0843 224 1001 and one of our agents will place the order for you. Saturday deliveries are available between 7.30am and midday.
Generally, we recommend allowing up to 3-5 working days for your order to arrive. Due to the general vagaries of business (the odd out of stock wine, courier issues, blizzards, ducks crossing etc.) we can't guarantee 100% that every case will arrive the next day, but you can always be assured that it's well on its way.
We understand how important your gift order is to you. So place your order before 3pm - and it will be delivered for free, the next day.
The Personalised gift products are dealt with slightly differently as magic elves need to be given the time to personalise the product for you. Specific delivery information can be found on the personalised tab on the gifts page
As you'd expect, orders placed before 3pm on Saturday will be delivered the very next Monday.

Delivery is charged at £7.99 per address, which will cover as many cases as you would like to order in one transaction . But there are also plenty of ways to secure free delivery on every order you place.

Yes you can, with our new 'Ship items to multiple addresses' feature.
We're currently only able to offer this new feature for Pre-mixed and Gift purchases.
If you've got more than one Pre-mixed case or Gift in your basket, you'll be able to tick the 'Ship items to multiple addresses' button on the checkout page.
This will then display each of your purchases on separate lines, with a drop-down menu to select a delivery address for that particular case.
All orders are charged at £7.99 per address. Orders over £150 going to the same address as well as gift orders are delivered for free, as usual.
Just imagine, you could send all of your Christmas presents directly from our warehouse, to some lucky so-and-so's front doorstep, by just entering a few addresses. Super convenient.
Our drivers prioritise getting your wine to you as quickly as possible. UK Mail are our partner carrier company. One of their drivers will attempt delivery from Monday to Friday, between 8am and 6pm, depending when your order is placed. In some circumstances (such as the peak Christmas period) they will attempt to deliver up until 8pm.
When you place an order you can let us know what you want our drivers to do if you are not in. This is the easiest way to ensure you get your wine on time! We guarantee there is an option to suit you - such as nominating a safe place to leave the wine on your property, (like a greenhouse or coalbunker) asking a neighbour to take delivery (make sure you can trust them with your wine!) or request the driver to select the safest place to deposit your wine. And if it is stolen? We will replace the lot.
To rearrange delivery, please visit www.ukmail.com and select 'Manage My Delivery'. You'll need the unique card reference number from the top left hand corner on the back of the card, along with the postcode of where the parcel is to be delivered.
You can chose an alternative delivery date, arrange to collect from the Customer Collection Point at your nearest UK Mail Depot (proof of ID required) or tell them to redeliver to a safe place on your property.
Everything is explained on the card that has been left by the driver.

If your wine arrives damaged... Although the utmost care is taken to get your wines to you in perfect condition, on occasion damages happen. If your order is damaged, contact us straight away on 0343 224 1001 and we will sort it out for you.
If your wine has not arrived... You will need to log in to your Virgin Wines account and in the 'My Virgin Wines' drop down select 'Order History'. This allows you to track the status of your order. Alternatively, email email@example.com or call us on 0343 224 1001 and we will get to the bottom of why your wine is tardy.
If your driver did a particularly good job, please let us know your comments by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. There could be a deserving reward in it for the driver, so we would love to hear your feedback. These comments also help to continuously build a more efficient delivery system.
