Virgin Wines raise a glass to 25 years with a massive year of celebrations
Virgin Wines is raising a glass to all the good times, as well as great wines, as the business marks 25 years with an extra special year of celebrations. From exclusive wine releases to unforgettable moments and extraordinary events, 2025 is going to be full of cork-popping moments.
Founded in 2000, the online wine retailer has glasses at the ready for its silver anniversary as it joyfully commemorates being 25 years young. Celebrations start in March and run through until the end of the year.
CEO Jay Wright says: “2025 is a special year for us, for 25 years Virgin Wines has been creating joy from grape to glass. We have plenty of exciting plans including a special collection of 12 commemorative wines that will be released throughout the year. We’ve worked closely with our winemakers to create something really special and reflective of the unique way that we create wines. From a very special Champagne crafted purely from red grapes for extra red fruit flavours to top tier Argentinian Malbec, there’ll be plenty to sip and savour.”
Wright also added: “As the year unfolds, wine lovers can look forward to more surprises, we are super-sizing our tasting events this year to make them bigger and better than ever before, spreading a little joy to the communities around us and focusing on making every moment an occasion worth celebrating for our people, too.
