This blended Scotch is great value and has a rich flavour profile with honey and vanilla sweetness typical of whiskies from Speyside, balanced gently by a peaty Island influence. This is a Scotch that can be described as an ‘all occasion dram’. This Fettercairn 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky was released in 2018 and was intended to embody the distillery’s exotic, fruit-driven character. On the nose expect nectarine notes, with a floral nuance and milk chocolate, followed by tropical fruit and sticky Jamaican ginger cake flavours on the palate.
