Inspired by the great wines of the Northern Rhone, the Cote Roties that grace tables in top Parisian restaurants. It works well for the French to calm the extreme nature of their visceral Syrah (Shiraz to you and I) by the addition of a small volume of unctuous and perfumed Viognier. But in the Barossa, it makes for a very different combination. Here, of all regions in Australia, there's plenty of sunshine. Plenty. This is a classic muscular Barossa Shiraz with a twist - a touch of femininity.

A great Shiraz - the sort that really gives you a tingle on the tongue and a warm rosy glow in the stomach. Jammy flavours at the forefront and a peppery kick to finish things off. The kind of wine that would floor a side of beef in seconds.
This exceptionally classy and rich red is world-class. From Spain but reminiscent of fine Bordeaux, in fact, this is what most Bordeaux wants to taste like. Made using traditional methods in a modern, purpose built winery, only the finest clarets can stand up to it.
