Pinot Noir is, without a doubt, one of the wine world's most revered grape varieties and this is a very impressive example! Crafted from organically grown grapes that come from selected vineyards planted on limestone and granite soils. These are ideally suited for producing top-class Pinot bunches that are packed with flavour and character. A lighter-bodied red that is fresh in style, with ripe strawberry and raspberry notes, lovely ripe tannins and a long balanced finish.
The Winemaker The Winemaker
Daniel Gerold
Originating from Alsace, Daniel Gerold was introduced to wine by his father, which eventually inspired him to follow a path towards a career in the industry. After his winemaking studies, Daniel travelled across Burgundy, Champagne and New Zealand, gaining a wide-ranging knowledge of grape varieties, terroirs and techniques. In 2020, he headed back to the Alsace and started to work at Cave de Turckheim.
