Type: Tempranillo
Price: £8.99 each
We like to provide a personal service. So, when you said you wanted one of your favourite Gran Reserva with more fruit and aged in oak slightly longer, we poked our heads around the winery door and asked the winemakers to do just that. They did. Cinnamon and forest fruit flavours of the Tempranillo grapes are combined with spicy, toasty oak to make this soft, complex Valencian red. It doesn't lounge around like a chubby, couch-potato Rioja, it's energetic, well-toned & great with roast lamb.

Type: Pinotage blend

Graham Knox stumbled on a block of ancient vine Zinfandel in the heart of the Cape's finest red wine region, Wellington. He snapped it up and then went looking for a partner to bring this parcel of fruit to life and make sure it's rareness was appreciated and not lost in a big brand's blends. This wine has oodles more lusty, raisiny Zinfandel character than most pure Californian Zinfandels at double the price. Pinotage, slightly lean and minty, only serves to accentuate Zinfandel's rustic, grainy character.
Type: Sauvignon Blanc
Price: £8.99 each
Packed full of juicy fruit and needs to be enjoyed al fresco, where possible. It has the freshness and vibrancy to go beautifully with shellfish, while lees ageing adds a touch of creamy complexity that would see it as a good aperitif too. No flashy label, just great wine.

The rise of Pinot Grigio within the wine world has been mind blowing. It now holds a lofty position in terms of sales and peoples preference when buying whites. This is a wine quite literally suitable for all occasions. Our d'Arcana is up there with the best. Its rise to stardom is about style and simplicity. There's crispness and freshness to the flavour profile, reminiscent of tinned pears - just delicious and leaves its drinkers hankering for more. Chuck in the versatility and you've a magnificent combo.

If you've marked Rosés down as the overly sweet sickly wines of the Mateus era then think again. Modern Rosés are refreshing, fruitier and more substantial than a white but crisper and lighter than a red. They're perfect to enjoy all year round, not only in the summer. This Rosé has all the zest and verve of a Pinot Grigio, with some of the flavour and colour from the pink skins squeezed into it. Refreshing, thirst quenching and more-ish, it pleases-everyone (including Vegans).

Type: Prosecco / Glera

Award winning producer, Claudio Manera, of Araldica fame, has hit the nail on the head with this one. When it comes to making aromatic Prosecco, there is not a lot he doesn't know and this is perfectly presented in this deliciously light, fruity Prosecco. With oodles of apple and peach on the nose and an interesting soft finish, this will go down super easy and have you racing back for more.
