Type: Grenache blend
Price: £17.99 each
This wine was crafted from dry-grown, old vine stock, vines that have both venerable old age and a spectacular setting in which to perfect their tiny, sweet globes of flavour. There are few vineyards like this left in South Australia, and so releasing wine from these vines is something quite rare. Being so well established, the vines give a very natural balance to the crop, meaning that minimal intervention if possible in the winery, another rare phenomenon in cellars Down Under.

Type: Sauvignon Blanc
Price: £11.99 each
This wine is from the new 'Township Winery' in Gugulethu and is run by community leaders, who act for everyone looking for funding to replace old shanties with brick-built houses. It's a world-class Sauvignon that punches well above its weight, offered at the peak of its powers. Made using the same grapes that go into South Africa's top Sauvignon costing twelve, fifteen, twenty pounds a bottle and up - quality was built in from day one.

Type: Pinot Grigio
Price: £7.99 each
If you've marked Rosés down as the overly sweet sickly wines of the Mateus era then think again. Modern Rosés are refreshing, fruitier and more substantial than a white but crisper and lighter than a red. They're perfect to enjoy all year round, not only in the summer. This Rosé has all the zest and verve of a Pinot Grigio, with some of the flavour and colour from the pink skins squeezed into it. Refreshing, thirst quenching and more-ish, it pleases-everyone (including Vegans).
