How brilliant to be able to approach our favourite Vouvray producer, Francois Chainier of Clos de Nouys, and have our wish for a bespoke Vouvray Sec granted by the man himself! Francois has some of the very finest of all Vouvray vineyards, next door to the stellar Domaine Huet (received wisdom is that Huet are the very best - Francois has a problem with this, naturally). He rears this classic in the very same tuffeau caves that his lovely Nouys sits in. A very pretty wine with plenty of character.
