An excellent quality to enjoy with friends, or to keep all to yourself.
This wine is an all round crowd pleaser - guaranteed to delight!
We Say...
The makers of the Damnation call this a Damned Good Wine, ready to put the Grand Vins to the test. We think it probably will. It's a bright, lustrous ruby wine with strawberries and blackcurrants woven through with hints of roasted vanilla and grilled bread. Although it's modern claret in style, decant to get the best out of it now, or hide the bottle for 5 years or more to open on a celebration day in the future. Very good wine.
Neither awful nor great. A bit of a novelty, because it's 85% cabernet franc, but it's rather unassuming. Hard to find serious fault, but there's little to really love here. Maybe it would have benefitted from a couple more hours in the decanter.

Thin, nasty, a wine to lay down and avoid!

Whoever gave this a 2 star doesn't know what they are talking about. I drunk this the day after drinking a 2005 Chateau Brane-Cantenac and this easily stood up next it. Great value for its price

Seemed to have a New World style about it. Think it will balance out in a few years, but at the moment it has an almost turkish delight, sweet fragrance. Very enjoyable.
