One sniff of this and you'll think you're in the Mediterranean! Amazingly redolent of the wines of the south of France in its herby warmth. Just delicious.
If you enjoy Chateauneuf-du-Papes, you will enjoy this. And you'll also have enough money in your pocket to buy a couple of lamb chops to accompany it, by contrast.
Declared the 3rd best Syrah in the World by Syrah du Monde.
We Say...
Alvaro Espinosa is the passion behind these wines and we love him for it. He doesn't care at all that his wines can carry an organic sticker, preferring to believe that organics and sustainability simply make the best wine (without harming the environment). It's win win viticulture.
Blackcurrant/Bramble with a hint of beef (rare) in the (nos)strils.
Tannin Central with a smooth spicy finish that lingers......ticks all the boxes for a BIG new world red - just glad I got 6 in my last case!

A very full, fruity and tasty wine. Great on the palette, not so great at the end of the bottle.
A lot of people (including me) at the wine tasting in leeds loved it, bought a few bottles and am disappointed at the sediment in the bottom of the bottle - ruins the last glass.

superb - recommended
This has to be one of my all-time favourites. The great thing about this wine is that it differs from many other Syrahs - it is full of blackcurrant fruit and is incredibly complex and smooth. It rivals a lot of other French equivalents in the Rhone and Languedoc. A great match with beef Wellington.
The most important thing to me is to express the natrural character of each grape without intervening with the natural cycles of the vineyard. Being organic is not a marketing tag, it's the best way to make better wine!
