The 2005 vintage won a Gold Medal and this one is every bit as good. A great food wine with the smoothness that makes this southern Rhone gem a must have. Limited supply so stock up now.
Very good. Rich smooth velvety fruit. Something you dont normally get from France.

The Wine Maker Says...
Country:France
In common with our Gigondas wines, our Cotes du Rhones turned out brilliantly in 2005. It was an excellent year for weather in the Southern Rhone with plenty of sunshine and just enough rain, so that both the Syrah and Grenache were harvested at optimum ripeness. The wines were fermented in steel and then given time in oak during which time they softened slightly and gained in even more complexity and richness.
