This project is nothing without your involvement. Whether you’re an interested onlooker, or a fully-fledged Virtual Winemaker who’s paid their £1 a bottle to reserve a case, we love having you here regardless!
We’ll keep you in touch with every step in the wine’s creation, and updates from the people making it. If you’ve signed up, we will do this via regular emails, and – whether you’re a member or not – here on our site, where we not only blog, but also offer connectivity to other platforms including Facebook and Twitter.

Virtual Winemakers can not only comment and interact with the winemakers through the channels above, they can also participate in the decision-making process that drives the direction – and future – of the wine. These votes will take place at intervals through the wine’s evolution… so (stating the obvious!) the sooner you get involved, the sooner you can make a real difference to the wine itself.
Elements of the winemaking process, the name of the wine and the way it looks will all be put out to vote – and the majority opinion will rule! What we can guarantee is that the finished wine will be absolutely delicious, and crafted at the fantastic Finca Manzanos winery in Rioja, at the top of the plateau at the congruence of the rivers Ega and Ebro.
The only ‘virtual’ thing in all this is this website. Everything else is 100%, bona-fide real – especially the wine which wouldn’t be too much fun if it was virtual.
