Hello Virgin Wines!
If you have been reading this blog for a while now, our name may be familiar to you – Virgin Unite. You might know a lot about Virgin Unite or this might be the first time you’ve heard about us – so we thought we’d just introduce ourselves, seeing as we’ve got lots of great things planned with Virgin Wines over the coming year! We’ll also be keeping you up to date with all our activities throughout the year via this blog!
We’ve been working closely with Virgin Wines this past year on a number of their social investment projects, and cheering on their Virgin London Marathon runners Steve and Shaun (Good luck boys!). Poor guys are on a wine detox, another reason why they need our support!
So, a bit about us. In a nutshell, Virgin Unite is the not-for-profit foundation of the Virgin Group, founded by Richard Branson. We’re all about getting the right people together with the right ideas (and a little entrepreneurial magic) to help build a better world for everyone. It’s time for a revolution – a good one that is!
Virgin Wines are part of this revolution. Did you know Virgin Wines already support local communities in South Africa? Check out some of the activities they have been involved with here. But we’ve got lots more plans in the cellar which we’ll be uncorking soon – much like a fine wine, we’re just letting it breathe before we pour you a glass!
