The Virgin Wines tasting team had a busy month in May travelling up and down the country to Belfast, Birmingham and Newcastle. Hundreds of guests attended each tasting and left a similar amount of empty bottles! Olympic fever also swept through the Birmingham tasting, read on for more details.
We had a rather special guest at our Birmingham tasting at Edgbaston Cricket. One of the official Olympic 2012 Torch bearers brought along his Olympic Torch that was used to run his a leg of the torch relay. Chris was kind enough to allow all of our guests grab a photo or two with torch throughout the tasting. A massive thanks to Chris for bringing along his torch, it was a fantastic addition to the tasting.
