Here at Virgin Wines we drink, sleep and breathe wine, it’s quite literally in our blood! But we realise that not everyone is as obsessed as us which is why we are delighted to be part of National Wine Month, an entire month dedicated to wine – bliss! It even has its own slogan MAKE TIME FOR WINE – a sentiment very close to our hearts. The idea behind this wonderful campaign is to get people exploring beyond their normal boundaries – whether this means encouraging lager drinkers to sample a glass of red, persuading die-hard Old-Worlders to try a bottle of Aussie Shiraz or daring men to break the taboo and enjoy a glass of beautifully pink rosé!
On top of the extra sampling advocated by this initiative people are also given the opportunity to better educate themselves on all things wine related. If you live in the Birmingham area you can do some proper exploring by attending our Wine Tasting on Saturday 21st May. With over 130 different wines to choose from you will be spoilt for choice and also hopefully tempted to sample some wines which you might not normally think to buy. We’ll be there with our latest, exclusive range of hand-crafted, boutique wines plus our top customer favourites, as well as Champagne and Sparkling wines. Not only will there be plenty to drink and winemakers to meet, you’ll also receive professional recommendations from our own team of Personal Wine Advisors.
