Chateau La Salagre Bergerac Sec 2009

Chateau La Salagre Bergerac Sec 2009

  • It sports a coveted silver medal from the prestigious 'Vignerons Indépendants' competition, and it tastes splendid.
  • Tastes like wines double the price. Wow!
  • It's made in Bergerac, Bordeaux's neighbour.

This is something to get excited about. A medal-winning, organic Bergerac that bears an uncannily resemblance to white Bordeaux, so you'd be none the wiser in a blind tasting! It's a classic regional blend of zingy Semillon, with herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc and honeysuckle-edged Muscadelle for good measure. So to summarise, if you put this on your great uncle Reginald's table for supper, he'll assume it is a tasty, expensive Bordeaux - looks like one, feels like one and tastes like one.
