Lodi was a little known area in San Joaquin County until two things occurred: Creedence Clearwater Revival wrote a song about it, called 'Lodi' and it was crowned the 'Zinfandel Capital of the World'. Now it is home to Woodbridge, a brand of the legendary Robert Mondavi who goes by the affirmation "whatever you do, pour yourself into it". So there's no denying that it's on the vinous map now.
