Wine is made from grapes and there's a simple saying - 'you can't make exceptional wines from bad grapes'. Exactly why only estate grown fruit goes into this release from one of Chile's rising stars - Indomita. You'll find them in the Casablanca Valley and this Sauvignon Blanc demonstrates why this cool area has the ability to produce some of Chile's finest white wines.
Proximity to the ocean is the key: it ensures cooling morning fogs and brisk afternoon sea breezes, which extend the growing season, allow the grapes time to develop complex flavours and aromas as well as preserving the refreshing acidity that is necessary for a balanced wine.

Incredible value Sauvignon, made in its spiritual home of the Loire Valley and source of some of the world's greatest Sauvignon based wines. Winemaker Francois Chainier's care and undeniable talent shine through in this crisp, elegant white.

Packed full of juicy fruit and needs to be enjoyed al fresco. These grapes were selected from a vineyard that lies near Pézenas, half an hour from the sea, upon a vineyard anomalous in that it contains an unusually high chalk content. This is marvellous, some would say essential, for making classy aromatic Sauvignon. A classy bargain.
