• Bobal is the traditional Spanish varietal of Valencia and is commonly used for the production of bulk wines.
• However, when handled carefully in both vineyard and winery the potential for a top-quality Bobal wine is stronger than ever.

The Bodegas behind Pasion de Bobal is Sierra Norte. Their vineyards are found at 100m above sea level, just inland from Valencia. The whole estate is dedicated to organic farming with a modern approach to classic regional varietals. This wine offers rich, spicy flavours with dense black cherry fruit and lovely, crisp brightness. A delicious product of 6 months ageing in medium toast French barrels, which rounds off the finish and gives Pasion a silky texture.
