This is the best Sauvignon we tasted upon the release of the 2010 vintage from South Africa, and comes straight out of the traps with rapier like speed, slaking thirst and dancing on the tastebuds. Kiwi-drubbing flavours of lime zest, gooseberry and a mineralic edge will have you panting for more. Try with pan-fried white fish.

Werner Englebrecht is a hell of a man. We believe that he is setting out South Africa's quality stall for the future, although he'd be far too modest to admit it. He works at the new, but already much-vaunted Waterkloof Estate in the Cape, and also blends up great wines for us here.
