- Welcome to the wonderful world of Carmenere - dense and lightly herbal. Red-fruited loveliness to rival some pretty fine Bordeaux.
- Right now the French Bordelais are looking over their shoulders to Chile. And rightly so. The Chileans can deliver the same panache, and at a smaller cost. Get in!
- The Rapel comes screaming in as one of our favourite red wine regions. Period. With the Med climate the flavours are both generous and food friendly.
Carmenere has become more desirable than the Merlot it used to masquerade as. It has a wild, sexy almost feral edge and a substantial girth which works well when tamed a little in comely oak barrels. This is a wine for firesides, candlelight, and sharing with a special someone.

For me, winemaking is an art, a science and an important way of life that is reflected in Agustinos wines. These wines are built on hard work, starting on the vineyard, where careful management is carried out all year to harvest concentrated low yield grapes. The best blocks of the vineyards are specially selected to make three different styles of wine: Estates Vineyard, Reserves and the Special Blends. Enjoy these wines that invite you to appreciate nature, good food and fellowship (Constanza Schwaderer).
Beautiful ruby-red with good color intensity, the wine features pleasant aromas of ripe red fruit, oak, and spices with a light herbal note. The well-structured palate is fruity, dense, and flavorful with a nice, long finish.
